We are seeking an experienced litigation lawyer with 10+ years PAE, with substantial experience in personal injuries, insurance and medical negligence type claims, to work in our civil litigation team. Our civil litigation team acts for clients with respect to a variety of matters, including personal injuries, medical negligence, WorkCover, TPD claims and estate disputes.

About You

You need to be organised, with good analytical skills, have strong attention to detail and possess great drafting skills. You will have an enthusiastic approach to litigation and to all areas of law, with the drive to be continually learning and developing the ability to confidently work with clients and provide excellent service. You will be able to work, with partner direction, without undue immediate supervision in a team focused environment. You will like appearing in court and developing your skills. You need to be able to conduct files from inception to settlement/trial, including advising clients on settlement. The ability to bring files to a successful and timely conclusion is vital.

About the Role

This senior role will involve the preparation of legal documents and correspondence, liaising with clients, experts and barristers, and providing administrative support to the senior partner including management of diaries and files. You will also prepare briefs, take statements and assist with investigative work associated with claims and defences to claims, and attend court as required.

You will work closely with our team to provide excellent service to our clients.
